Join Amplifier Network on April 23 for the next class in its Get Educated Series, Venture Capital 101.  Jonathan Aberman and Don Rainey, Adjunct Professors at the Smith Business School University of Maryland and active investors themselves, will share their perspectives on finding the right VC and presenting compelling business plans. Aberman, Managing Director, Amplifier Venture Partners and Rainey, General Partner, Grotech Capital Group, will cover such questions as “What do VCs look for in an entrepreneur and his/her idea?” and “Where can capital be found in the DC Area?”.

Alumnus Joe Ordia of Ordia Solutions says that he found the class to be "just in time. Jonathan and Don did a great job of helping us understand the entire VC process from both sides of the table by using real-world examples and anecdotes to which we could all relate. Having attended the seminar, I feel much better prepared to enter into negotiations and ultimately finalize deals with VCs for my current and future businesses.”

Details:  Class will be held at DLA Piper in Reston, on April 23, 2008, from 2-5PM.  Class size will be limited in size to allow for questions and answers. To ensure your space, Register Now.
