Springfield, Va. -- Versar, a Springfield-based provider of program management and technology services to the government, is the highest-ranked local company on Fortune Small Business magazine's newly released list of the 100 fastest growing public companies with under $200 million in annual revenue. Versar ranks No. 14, based on revenue growth and total return to investors, up from No. 54 a year ago. Other locals on the list include Owings Mills-Based Medifast (No. 26), Columbia-based Integral Systems (No. 37), Linthicum Heights-based Dialysis Corp.
