Here are a few of the many cool features of the new info hubs:
		1. A wider range of relevant information, whether you are an entrepreneur, investor or service provider to the local technology community that you can share with others 2. A personal "My Page" that allows you to save information you find useful and organize your own feeds, videos, and documents. You can also create an optional profile that other members of the community can view. 3. Features allowing members to contribute their own content or easily share content with others (especially in DC Tech Corridor)4. Weekly (or more frequent if requested) updates of posted content from the network hub you join. 5. The ability to create your own info hubs, whether on a specific piece of information, or more permanently, for example, to organize the business plan for a new business or operate an angel investment group.
As a valued member of the Amplifier Network, your registration in the information hubs will help strengthen the collective knowledge of the community.  Please join today!

John Hurley,Senior Executive, DLA Venture Pipeline Group, says, "We have read hundreds of business plans for companies that could have been market contenders if they had been more diligent about plotting out their future."
In the Business Plan 101 course, Hurley will provide an overview of the seven critical sections of a business plan, as well as the information needed to make a business plan drive a desired transaction. Class will be held at DLA Piper in Reston from 2PM to 4PM, and will be limited in size to allow participants to ask questions.

Greg Merril’s varied background includes amateur road cycling, professional sports car driving, a stint as a tennis pro and 20 years as an entrepreneur, but all of his endeavors share two common themes:  vision and success.  After founding HT Medical Systems in 1987, he led his firm to four consecutive years as one of Maryland’s fastest growing technology companies.  For his work in medical simulation, the Smithsonian Institution named Merril a “Hero of the Information Age” in 1996.  His success story was selected to be part of the National Museum of American History's permanent research collection on Innovation in Information Technology.

In July 2000, Merril led HT Medical Systems through a $42M merger with Immersion (NASDAQ: IMMR).  Two years later, he started another company that's been attracting more attention and awards.  Amplifier recently asked Merril about InterAction Laboratories, Inc.
